They are an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. The FSC system allows businesses and consumers to identify, purchase and use wood, paper and other forest products made with materials from well-managed forests and/or recycled sources.
The Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) is a leading global alliance of national forest certification systems, dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification.
